4-10 of March, 2019 at the University of Applied Science of Salzburg (Austria) there was held the training session for the senior academic administrators.

The delegation from Mongolian University of Science and Technology – representatives: Baatarkhuu (Vice-president), Batdorj (Head of department of development curriculum), Narantsetseg(Director of Graduate School of Engineering).

 

The event was attended by representatives of major universities from Kazakhstan, Russia, Mongolia, as well as its vendors from Austria (Siemens&SmartCity).

The training seminar was opened by the rector of an Austrian University of applied Sciences of Salzburg, Dr. Gerhard Blechinger.

During the training, buildings, districts of Salzburg and Vienna, built on the basis of SmartCity technologies, were visited. The concept of SmartCity Austria, which brings together key sectors of the economy under the leadership of the government, was presented.

The key issue of the meeting was the discussion of the joint educational program on SmartCity, considered curricula, syllabuses, etc.

 

As a result of the meeting, the participants discussed possible prospects of cooperation, exchanged experiences, and got acquainted with the educational and material and technical base of the University.
